Elastics (Rubberbands)
Elastics are just expensive rubber bands. Orthodontists use them to coordinate upper and lower teeth to perfect the bite. Elastics work best if worn full time. You should even try to eat with them (if you swallow an elastic, do not worry, it will come out all right). People who do not want to eat with elastics should put the elastic on their finger tip to remind them to put the elastics back in after eating.
Your teeth might become sore if you wear the elastics off and on. You will feel more comfortable and your teeth will move faster if you keep wearing the elastics all the time. If you run out of elastics, call us and we can mail you some more.
